Maintenance Technician

Triangle Kitchen Ltd. • Dieppe, New Brunswick

Location: 679 Babin Street, Dieppe, NB

Schedule: Monday to Friday | Full-Time | Permanent

Benefits: Comprehensive group benefits + RSP matching

About Triangle Kitchen

Triangle Kitchen Ltd. has been a cornerstone of manufacturing in Greater Moncton for over 50 years — a leader in the design and wholesale distribution of premium cabinetry and home of one of Atlantic Canada’s most advanced cabinet manufacturing facilities. Our reputation is built on quality craftsmanship, continuous improvement, and a people-first culture where employees stay, grow, and build long careers.

About the Role

Due to continued growth, Triangle Kitchen is adding a second Maintenance Technician to our team. This is a newly created, hands-on role at the heart of daily operations — keeping advanced equipment running at peak performance, from CNC routers and edge banders to material handling equipment, electrical systems, pneumatics and plumbing. No two days look the same.

This role is built for someone who is naturally curious, takes pride in solving problems, and thrives when given ownership — someone who gets satisfaction from figuring out how things work and is motivated to make them better, not just fix them.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance across all production equipment and facility systems.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and computer-controlled machinery (CNC routers, edge banders, saws, conveyors).

• Troubleshoot breakdowns efficiently and implement lasting solutions.

• Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery.

• Maintain and service forklifts and other material handling equipment.

• Perform or coordinate basic plumbing, electrical, and building maintenance.

• Contribute to the preventative maintenance (PM) program across all machine centres.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

• Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.

• Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and company standards.

Qualifications

Education & Training

A certification or diploma in a relevant trade is preferred, but equivalent hands-on experience is genuinely valued. Applicable credentials include:

• Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) — Red Seal or in progress

• Production Equipment Mechanic

• Electrical / Instrumentation Technician

• Welding or Plumbing

• Any other recognized trades certification

Candidates with significant hands-on industrial maintenance experience and no formal credential are encouraged to apply.

Skills & Attributes

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including computer-controlled and automated equipment.

• Strong electro-mechanical aptitude with a genuine passion for understanding how systems work.

• Proactive mindset — you anticipate issues before they become costly problems.

• Comfortable working independently and taking full ownership from problem identification through to resolution.

• Strong communicator who collaborates well within a small, close-knit team.

• Unwavering commitment to workplace safety.

• Curiosity, creativity, and a drive to continuously improve.

What Triangle Kitchen Offers

• A competitive pay, commensurate with experience.

• Comprehensive group benefits package and RSP matching.

• Monday to Friday schedule with standard hours; occasional off-hours availability for critical breakdowns.

• Stable, permanent position with a well-established regional employer.

• Collaborative, supportive culture where you are known, valued, and heard.

• Real opportunities for professional growth and skills development.

• A diverse, dynamic role in one of Atlantic Canada’s most advanced cabinetry facilities.
